“You think too much” is a critique I have often heard throughout my life, but I take it as a compliment. What people mean is that I tend to overanalyze things, yet in my opinion that is practically impossible. The human mind, human relationships, life and society are topics of unfathomable depth, and if we merely skim the surface, we are truly missing out. Everything around us is full of beautiful stories and deeper meaning, and I love to explore this.

I am a philosophy student, and though I admire and respect all the great thinkers that have come before me, the history of thought is not my true interest. My interest lies in the practical, in the real world, the here and now. What I want to do is philosophize, and contemplate the questions of modern life for myself.

For me, the best way to do this is through writing—whether it is a philosophy-driven essay, a piece of literary journalism, poetry or fiction.

My other passion is music. I can’t live without rock and roll, and playing guitar is my meditation. Anything can be spiritual, and for me writing and music fill the void—though I also practice some yoga and Buddhism.

I am an extremely sensitive person and this occasionally makes life quite hard, but deeply satisfying at the same time. I perceive things that others don’t seem to, and this is the vision I want to share with you.

Surrounded by chaos and millions of people, I sought peace in noiseless surroundings and pure air. I found it in the mountains and valleys I had the luck of exploring, nature captivates my attention and makes me speechless. Day and sunlight started to dawn on me as pointless materialism and adolescence drained me of precious energy, night life turned to dust with exposure to the sun and I chose creative living. Interest in literature and philosophical discussion drove me to a revived interest in the east and its millenary cultures. This led me to India and the subconscious. I’m developing yoga as my professional career and I write as a means for expressing  my experience. I want to share with others of  similar interests in order to develop a wider perspective with their contribution. I aspire to be positive and live smiling. I follow a simple day to day life, taking on my dharma—duty or responsibility—with special concern and relaxation. I appreciate friendliness in people and trust their qualities over all. I pursue my contentment through yoga, travel and writing.
